CFA annihilates SAG football academy, as Lemeet pumps four goals

Lemeet pumped in four goals as hosts Chandigarh Football Academy (CFA) thrashed SAG Football Academy, Gujarat, 10-0 on the second day of the 17th Administrator’s Challenge Cup All-India Football Tournament in Chandigarh.
Playing at the Sector 42 Sports Complex, Lemeet struck in the 23rd, 28th, 62nd and 73rd minute. Sarthak scored a hat-trick (39th, 59th, 71st) while Lanchenba (18th, 29th) added a brace to the CFA tally. Mukul registered his name on the score-sheet in the 70th minute.
West Bengal boys, meanwhile, came from behind to beat Chennaiyin FC 3-2 in a thrilling encounter. Chennaiyin FC took the lead through K Srinidhi in 7th minute of the match and held the advantage till Pintu Kumar struck for West Bengal in the 25th minute. Both teams tried hard to break the deadlock in the remaining minutes of the first-half but failed to find the back of the net.
After the break, West Bengal came out charging and took the lead, with Pintu Kumar scoring his second goal of the match in the 53rd minute.
In the third match of the day, Rahul Mable scored a hat-trick to help Sudeva FC, New Delhi, register a 3-1 win over Chandigarh Football Association. Mable scored in the 48th, 54th and 69th minutes of the match. Ankit pulled off the lone goal for Chandigarh Football Association in the 42nd minute.
