CDA Guwahati crowned champions after dramatic final

The host team CDA Guwahati emerged as champions in the zonal rounds of All India Defence Accounts Department Cricket Tournament. In the final played at the NF Railway Stadium, Maligaon on November 25th, Guwahati defeated CAD Patna by four wickets.
The tournament was inaugurated by RN Biswas, IDAS, Controller of Defence Accounts Guwahati on November 23.
Altogether four teams from eastern region- PCA (fys) Kolkata, BGF Ishapore, CDA Patna and the host team, CDA Guwahati took part in the three-day championship which was hosted by Controller of Defence Accounts Guwahati under the aegis of Defence Accounts Sports Control Board, New Delhi.
The winner will now participate in the 10th All India DAD Cricket Tournament from East Zone, scheduled to be held at Pune from December 9 to 13.
