CBSE Zonal Boxing: Aryan & Sagar emerge victorious

Aryan of The British School, Sector 44, overpowered Vishesh of Little Angel Public School, Sonepat, to win the boys’ U-17 title in the 38kg category on the concluding day of the CBSE Zonal Boxing Championship in Chandigarh.
In the 42kg title bout, Sagar of Brigadier Ram Singh Public School, Dujana, outwitted Rinku of Nalanda Public School, Rohtak, while Pranshu of MR Senior Secondary School, Jhajjar, got the better of Kunal from RBSM Public School, Gurugram, to top the podium in the 46kg contest.
Mukul of DAV Public School, Hisar, defeated Karan Singh of DAV NTPC, Faridabad, in the 48kg title clash.
In the boys’ U-19 category, KL Arya of DAV School, Hisar, outpunched Gavnesh of Pratap Singh Memorial Senior Secondary School, Kharkhoda, in the 60kg title bout.
In the 49kg summit clash, Rahul of CR Public School, Hisar, ousted Mohit of Mother Teresa Convent School, Fatehabad, while Sahil from Mata Gujri Public School, Kaithal, downed Dev Sharma of IKG International School, Ghaziabad, in the 46kg title bout.
