CBSE National Lawn Tennis Championship 2018

CBSE National Lawn Tennis Championship 2018 was organised at Billabong High International School, Noida. Students of National and International CBSE affiliated schools participated in this 5-day championship. The competition was successfully concluded under the leadership of Mrs. SharmilaChatterjee (Principal), and Jasmine Gandhi (Director) on Wednesday.
At the closing ceremony of the competition, students of Billabong School presented various cultural performances and boosted the atheltes with the same. As the Chief guest of the competition, Mr Mahesh Dharmaadhikari (Co- Secretary, CBSE), PoonamVishnoye (District Sports Officer, GautumBudh Nagar). National Lawn Tennis Player Lakshit and ChandrilSood graced the event with their appearance.
All these guests rewarded the winning players and boosted their morale. Results were that Billabong School won the trophy in under-19 Boys Singles Category and Oakridge International School, Hyderabad won the trophy in under-19 Girls Category and for under- 17 Boys and Girls Singles Category, Little Angel School, Sonipat was awarded the trophy.
