Cambridge School clinch Shree Ram Anugrah Narayan Memorial Inter-School Girls Football Tournament

The 3 day long Shree Ram Anugrah Narayan Memorial Inter-School Girls Football Tournament came to an end in thrilling fashion on Sunday. In a tense final, Cambridge School Noida beat Army Public School Noida 4-3 in a sudden death in the penalty shootout.

At the end of full time, the two teams were locked at 0-0. Both teams had ample opportunities to score goals, but were unable to capitalise on them. At the end of the penalty shootout as well, they were 3-3. An outstanding goal from Sanya Aggarwal gave Cambridge School the title.

Rashmika Sriram of Cambridge School who scored 5 goals was awarded the Top Goal Scorer Award. The winners were given a cheque of Rs75,000 while Rs60,000 was awarded to the runners up. Niharika Singh of Army Public School was awarded the best Goalkeeper award.
