Brahma Gold Cup: Eden FC edge past New Model Club

Local outfit Eden FC moved to the next round of the ongoing 26th edition of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Gold Cup football tournament today by upsetting another local side New Model Sports Club 1-0 at the Udalguri Stadium.
Eden striker Jintu Daimari netted the decider in the 26th minute.
Today’s match: Dwimalu FC vs Sutunga FC, Meghalaya.
Moving towards national level at Subroto, Bampathar Bengenabari Higher Secondary School of Charaideo district representing Assam registered their third consecutive victory in the ongoing Boys U-17 Subroto Cup International Football Tournament in New Delhi.
The rampaging Assam boys today thrashed a Sri Lankan team 15-0 in a group match.
Earlier, Assam defeated KVS 8-0 yesterday and trounced IPS 13-0 on September 7. Assam will play Bihar in the next match tomorrow.
