Bhavya-Garv wins Silver at All India Badminton Tournament

In an All India Badminton Tournament held from 24th to 30th September 2019 in Tamil Nadu, Noida’s duo of Bhavya Chhabra and Garv Saahani won the Silver medal. Both the players were part of the state team representing team UP in Tamil Nadu. They both participated in Under-13 category at Yonex Sunrise All India Sub-Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament. Duo defeated Uttarakhand Vansh Karki and Kaustubh Tyagi in Quarter-Final with 21-14, 21-23, 21-11 and booked their berth in Semi-Final. Then in Semi-Final pair faced Manipur’s Anthem Kosporov and Waris Salam and defeated them rather convincingly by 17-21 and 16-21.
Pair faced another Uttarakhand’s duo in summit clash of Ansh Negi and Siddharth Rawat who gave tough and exciting matchup to the pair as they defeated Garv and Bhavya by 21-13. 19-21, 21-16.
