Basti claims match against Faizabad in Junior Girls Handball Championship

Basti team performing with full grace dominated the group stage handball game against Faizabad team with 21-10 schoreline. The three days Handball Championship was played in the HRIT Campus in between 27 and 30 August.
Total 17 teams marked their participated from different part of Uttar Pradesh in the Junior Handball Championship. Himanshu Gautam the Upper Grade Official of the region awarded the winning team and announced the closing of the three days championship. Sports Directorate of Lucknow region along with Uttar Pradesh Handball Association launched the prestigious tournament in the Ghaziabad region of the state.
17 Division teams of the state with Lucknow, Meerut, Agra, Aligarh, Muradabad, Jhansi, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Kanpur, Allahabad, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Basti and Mirzapur participated in the championship. The three-days Handball Championship was played with the legacy of League Cum Knockout Championship.
