Athletic meet at Mundian Kalan government school concludes

A large number of students from Class VI to XII took part in various track and field events during the Inter-House Athletics Meet here at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Mundian Kalan, on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road.
This meet was organised on the orders of Krishan Kumar, secretary, Punjab Education Department, and under the supervision of Swaranjit Kaur, District Education Officer, Ludhiana.
These students represented different houses and those from the Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar House emerged winners while Shaheed Bhagat Singh House and Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha secured second and third position, respectively.
Sushil Kumar, principal of the school, gave away prizes to the position holders. Prabhsimran Singh, a student of Class XI who won gold medal in the All-India Open Athletics Championship (U-19), and Arman Ali, a student of Class VIII who was the member of the district football team U-14 that finished first runners-up in the Punjab State Schools Games, were also honoured on this occasion.
The principal thanked the Sports Club, Mundian Kalan, for extending support in holding the meet.
