Aster School and Vishwa Bharti School clinches finalist spot of Captain Shashikant Memorial Cricket Tournament

Aster School along with Vishwa Bharti Public School of Noida region has qualified as the finalist teams of Captain Shashikant Memorial Cricket Tournament. Both the teams demonstrated great sort of performances in the semifinal matches and grabbed easy win against the opponent team to reach the finals of Cricket Tournament.

In the first semi-final match Vishwa Bharti team’s bowlers forced stop Billabong High International School Noida at score of 59 runs. Vishwa Bharti School grabbed the finalist tag of the game with 9 wickets win in the match. Vishwa Bharti Batsmen Agam with not-out 28 runs and Durgesh with not-out 21 runs were the top performing players of the match. Agam was awarded with the ‘Man Of The Match’ award for showcasing great sort of performance with bat.

In the second semi-final match of the day Aster scored 171 runs mammoth score after losing 6 wickets. Vishal and Nishant played appreciable knocks in the match with 74 and 64 runs. Amity School in response were able to score just 89 runs while losing 9 wickets. Aster School’s top scorer Vishal was chosen as the right candidate for the Man Of the Match Award.

N.P Singh and S.S.P Ajay Pal Singh will be the chief guest for the final battle.
