Assam girls finish with win

Assam completed the BCCI’s U-19 Women’s One-day Tournament campaign with a victory.
In their last group match at the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Stadium in Barsapara here today, Assam posted a six-wicket victory against Maharashtra.
Maharashtra managed to score 136 for nine in their stipulated 50 overs and in reply Assam girls took 42.2 overs to reach the target losing four wickets. Anamika Bori and Hemlata Payeng remained unbeaten on 30 and 19 respectively while Jyoti Devi contributed 22.
It was Assam’s second victory in the championship where nine teams took part.
