Assam Chess team all set for National meet in capital

A 12-member Assam team left yesterday for Delhi to participate in the National U-11 Open and National U-11 Girls Chess Championships to be held from November 15 to 23. The championship is organized by the Delhi Chess Association on behalf of the All India Chess Federation.
The players are selected on the basis of their performances in the 42nd All Assam U-15 Inter District Chess Championship, 2019 held in Tezpur.
The team members: (U-11 open) Vivek Rajkumar, Abhash Roimya Saikia, Yuwan Das, Mayank Chakraborty, Tanveer Ahmed, Karnav P Deka, Pehlaj Dutta, Priyanuj Das, Maharishi Prasad Kashyap; (U-11 girls) Pritilakshmi Kashyap, Baishnavi Limboo, Lulakshi Mahanta. Manager-Bimal Das.
