Asian Junior Tennis Championship: Ahwajit to face Arunava for summit clash

Arunava Majumder and Ashwajit Senjam entered the final in the boys singles while in the girls singles, Saumitra Jagtadeo Verma will take on top seed Pari Singh in the title clash of the Asian Juniors Tennis Championship.

In the semifinals played at the Jorhat Tennis Club in Assam, Arunava Majumder defeated Samprit Sharma 6-3, 6-2 while Ashwajit Senjam got the better of Manan Nath (3) 2-6, 6-1. In the girls semifinals, Saumitra Jagtadeo Verma (3) got the better of Namrata Das 6-3, 6-1 and Pari Singh (1) prevailed over Raja Sarvagnya Kilaru 6-0, 6-1.
