Aryan finds spot in main draws of CLTA-AITA Championship

Aryan Thakur of Chandigarh beats Harmanjot Singh Minhas to ensure his positioning in the list made for the Boys U-18 category main draw of the CLTA-AITA Championship Series to be played in the CLTA complex in Sector-10.
Thakur started the game with a negative approach, as he lost first set with point 4-6. Soon after realizing his mistakes, the boy made a dramatic comeback to win the game in the next two sets with points tally 6-2 and 6-4. In other qualifying matches, Navya Verma overpowered Svamin Verma commanding straight-set win with points 6-1 and 6-1 in both the sets. Anish Lal playing against Samar Bir Singh Sindhu got a favorable result with set point 6-2 and 6-2. Gaurav Kumar took charge over his counterpart Vipul Pratap Singh with straight points 6-2 and 6-3 in both the sets.
The winners’ list of players in all the matches is overjoyed, as they have attained a spot in prestigious CLTA-AITA Championship. The tournament will be played in U-18 and U-14 boys category in Ludhiana.
