Army school conquers Thapar memorial football tourney. The tournament was being held at Sector-37 located Army school ground. Host defeated boys from Vidyagyan School, Bulandshahr 2-0. Almost 14 teams participated in this tournament.
Third place went to Army school, Shankar Vihar. Guest of honor Brigadier Ravinder Pratap Singh awarded the winners, runners-up and all the star players of the tournament.
Shaurya Rana of Army School scored the most goals in the tournament, thus he was awarded with golden boot. Harish Bhatt was adjudged as Best goalkeeper for his heroics performance in all of the competition. Sumit Kumar won the player of the tournament trophy in this competition.
