Army organises inter-school quiz competition

Ace of Spades Division organised Inter School Quiz Competition under Operation Sadbhavna. A total of nine schools fielded their candidates in two categories ie Seniors (class XI & XII) and Juniors (class VIII to X). The event was conducted in two phases wherein the competing candidates appeared for screening test on 28 Aug 19. The best six teams in each category progressed to the final round which was conducted on 02 Sep 19 at Raina Auditorium, Ace of Spades Division.
The quiz was conducted in a professional and realistic manner testing all quotients of the participant’s knowledge. The students displayed tremendous grit and talent and ensured a neck to neck competition. Ultimately, Army Goodwill Public School, Rajouri emerged victorious in the ‘Seniors Category’ with Kendriya Vidyalaya finishing as first Runners Up and Government Boys Higher Secondary School as second Runners Up. In ‘Juniors Category’, Delhi Public School bagged the First Position followed by International Higher Secondary School as first Runners Up and Army Goodwill Public School as second Runners Up.
It was also a matter of pride for the people of Rajouri that Irm Shamim a local of Rajouri has cleared her MBBS entrance exam for AIIMS, Delhi who was present in the event and also delivered a motivational talk for all the young & budding minds of Rajouri at the event.
The event was meticulously conducted with the help of teachers of Valley View Army Public School and was attended by host of civil and military dignitaries.
