APS Jammu Cantt, APS Ratnuchak win Basketball titles

Army Public School (APS) cagers dominated the district level inter-school Basketball tournament of Jammu, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), taking away both under-14 and under-17 boys’ titles at MA Stadium, here.
In the under-17 final, APS Ratnuchak defeated Sainik School Nagrota 42-16.
Earlier, in the semifinals, APS Ratnuchak beat MHAC Nagbani 32-24 while Sainik School Nagrota trounced JK Public School 18-02.
In under-14 title clash, APS Jammu Cantonment trounced Heritage School 15-08.
In the semifinals, APS Jammu Cantonment defeated JK Public School 14-04 and Heritage School trounced Model Academy 10-04.
The matches were officiated by Harsimranjeet, Vishal Bharti, Mousmi, Amit Kalsi, Vaneet Pangotra, Rajesh Bandral, Usha Fotedar and Shevata Charak.
