Anupama clinches twin titles at 53rd Haryana Junior Badminton

Anupama Upadhaya won two titles in the ongoing M3M 53rd Haryana State Junior Badminton Championship at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula.
The city shuttler registered a 21-9 21-19 win over Ridhi Kaur Toor in the girls’ U-17 final, while she rallied from a game down to beat Sakshi Gehlawat 13-21 21-7 21-15 in the girls’ U-19 title clash.
Earlier, in the U-17 semifinals, Anupama drubbed Kritika 21-12 21-10, while Ridhi downed Muskaan Sangwan 21-16 22-20.
In the boys’ singles competition, Raghev Bharat trounced Pankaj 21-16 21-6 to claim the U-17 title, while Ravi overcame Bharat 21-14 20-22 21-18 in the U-19 final.
Chug Kush and Mohit Goury defeated Aryan Hooda and Pankaj 21-16 21-18 to win the boys’ U-19 doubles title, while Aman Nandal and Raman Kumar registered a 21-14 21-19 win over Chirag and Randeep in the boys’ U-17 final.
