Ansh Negi wins Gold at National Badminton

In All India Sub-Junior ranking badminton tournament, players from Uttrakhand has won many medals along with Gold. This tournament saw various players from Uttrakhand playing brilliant badminton on court with right movement and skills combined. State Badminton association gave congratulations to players for this super achievement.
This Championship was held in Karnataka from 2nd to 7th July and performance of players from Uttrakhand was amazing. In Boys Under-13 category Ansh Negi defeated Pravan Ram of Telangana in Straight sets 21-15, 21-13 and won the Gold medal for the state.
In doubles Under-13 category it was the clash between pairs from Dehradun, which witnessed Kaustubh Tayagi and Vansh Pratap Negi grinding a hard fought victory against pair of Sidhartha Rawat and Ansh Negi by 21-18, 21-23 and 21-17.
