Anjum Moudgil of Punjab was leading in the qualification round of women’s 50m rifle prone event of the 61st National shooting championship at the Central Polytechnic shooting range here on Tuesday.
Anjum shot 624.8 points to take the lead and is followed by Maharashtra’s Tejaswini R. Sawant with 620.7, while K.M .Rubina of BSF is third with 617.3.
Ayonika Paul of Railways was the early leader in women’s 10m rifle with 419 points. Elavenil Valarivan of Gujarat was second (417.7) and Zeena Khitta of Madhya Pradesh third (417.6).
