Anika Verma to play in Indian Open Golf Championship

Noida’s Anika Verma has decided to play this year Hero Women’s Indian Open Golf Championship. This Golf championship will be held from 3rd of October at Gurugram’s DLF Golf and county Club. Indian Open is part of European tour and that’s why many players from various countries will be participating in this event.

Sector-36 based Anika Vartman is currently living in America where she is training for the upcoming tournaments. She will come to Noida on 29th September. She is learning game’s basic since she was six at Noida Golf Course. Anika is currently just 14 years old. She has been country Number one player in all C, B, D, A and Women’s category that she participated in.

When she was 13, Anika became number one player in women category. She was INdia’s first Golfer to achieve this feat.

In National Tournaments, Anika represents Uttar Pradesh. Anika would be hoping to do well in upcoming Indian Open Golf Championship with her recent form and performance backing her for the Title. Tournament will be participated by more than 120 women’s Golf pro player from around the world.
