The boys’ under-11 top seed from Chandigarh, Gurveer Singh, and the girls’ under-11 second seed from Delhi, Anahat Singh, entered the finals of the third DAIS Moment of Joy Khar Gymkhana junior open squash tournament on Saturday.

Striker Tanishq Gadge scored a goal in each half as Maurya Youngsters beat Chembur YMCA 2-0 in a division III match of the MDFA league at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.

shows the way for Maharashtra
Ranjeet Singh showed the way for Maharashtra in its 2-0 win against Madhya Pradesh in a Group-B qualifying-round league match of the AIFF 72nd National football championship for the Santosh Trophy in Ahmedabad on Saturday. This was Maharashtra’s third-straight win and it qualified for the final round of the National championship.
