The boys’ under-11 top seed from Chandigarh, Gurveer Singh, and the girls’ under-11 second seed from Delhi, Anahat Singh, entered the finals of the third DAIS Moment of Joy Khar Gymkhana junior open squash tournament on Saturday.

Ranjeet Singh showed the way for Maharashtra in its 2-0 win against Madhya Pradesh in a Group-B qualifying-round league match of the AIFF 72nd National football championship for the Santosh Trophy in Ahmedabad on Saturday. This was Maharashtra’s third-straight win and it qualified for the final round of the National championship.
