Amity becomes overall Champion, wins 18 medals

In CBSE North Zone one skating championship, Noida’s Amity International School became overall champion by winning almost 18 medals- showing their complete dominance over the opponents and teams they faced. This competition was held in Greater Noida’s Ryan International School from 30th September to 2nd October.

Many schools from North Zone participated in this skating competition. Amity school skaters won 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze medals on both Girls and Boys category.
First Day: Shifa Niyaz won Silver in Under-16 Inline race. Akshita Chauhan won Bronze in Under-14 Inline. In boys Under-10 category Avi Saini won Gold and in Under-8 Arnav Shah won Gold medal Inline race. In Under-14 Quads boys, Anirudh Singh won Silver and in Under-10 Noriyaz Hussain won Bronze medal.

Second Day: In Under-16, girls Inline 1000meter race Shifa Niyaz won her second medal of the competition which was Gold in color this time. In Boys Under-14 Eklavya Jagal won Silver, Under-10 Avi Saini won Gold, Under-8 Arnav Shah also won Gold. In Girls Avni Verma won Gold. In Under-12 Girls Quads category, Aradhya Rawat clinched Gold Medal.

Third Day: In 500 meter rink race Under-10 Quads category, Noriyaz Hussain won Bronze medal, In Under-12 girls category Aradhya Rawat won Silver and in boys category Anish Raj won Silver.
