AC Deb Memorial: Cambridge crushes Marigold team by 171 runs

Cambridge School defeated Marigold School by 171 runs in the AC Deb Memorial Inter School Cricket Competition on Saturday. Pulkit from Cambridge played an important role in giving the team a big win, performing well with both bat and ball. He was voted the man of the match.
Batting first, the Cambridge school team scored 201 runs. Yash Gupta scored a brilliant innings of 55 and Akshay Dubey scored 51 runs. Trisha Chaudhary scored 36 and Pulkit Vasistha scored 30 runs. The Marigold School team, while chasing down the target was all out for mere 30 runs. Pulkit who performed well with the bat, simply wreaked havoc on the rival team’s batting. Pulkit, who performed better with the bat, walked five batsmen for just 7 runs. At the same time, Lokesh Bhardwaj also bowled well and took three wickets for 6 runs. Only one Marigold batsman Rohan Singh was able to reach the double digits. He scored 14 runs.
