Above 68 players U-7 took part in UP State Chess Championship

UP State Chess Championship started from Friday at Royal Kids, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad. UP Chess Sports Association and District Chess Association organized the championship for kids U-7 category. 20 matches were played on the 1st day of the championship. Inauguration of competition done by Director Dr. Richa Sood.
Dr. Richa Sood said the championship will take place till 28th April and 68 players of Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Meerut, Lucknow, Jhansi, Agara, Muradabad etc districts are taking part in the championship.
1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders of both boys and girls category will be honored on 28th April, Sunday and position holders and runner ups will get a chance to participate in National Chess Championship which will be held from 30th may to 7th June in Kolkata.
