‘Aavhan’, the sports fest of IIT Bombay back with raised bars

‘Aavhan’, the sports fest of IIT Bombay, is all set to return from 22nd -24th March. Promises to raise the bar and redefine college sports as athletes from all over India battle it out in 16 different sports and cash prizes worth Rs 6.5 lakhs. Invoking all the colleges out there, mark your calendars and get ready to be a part of this extravagant euphoria. Online registration open for Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Lawn tennis, Powerlifting, Squash, Table-Tennis, Volleyball, Water-Polo, and Weightlifting.
For the 1st time, FIDE rated Chess tournament took place in ‘Aavhan’ on 16th -17th March 2019. Group stages for Cricket took place on 16th March. Also, Kabbadi and Power lifting are introduced for this edition. Apart from the competition, the fest will comprise of sports workshops & Expo as well as informal events & fun activities so that participants can experience a total sports fiesta.
