70 shooters register for District shooting championship

District level shooting championship started on the eve of International Women’s Day which is organize by District Rifle Association, Ghaziabad. 70 female shooters had registered for the championship. Chief guest Sunil Kumar Singh and city magistrate Yashvardhan Srivastava inauguration the competition. District sports officer GD Bariki said that championship is divided into 4 categories and the championship will take place in kavi nagar community hall. In 10m Air Pistol and 10m Air rifle the age categories are 9-12, 12-18, 18-40 and 40+. Competition will take place on Saturday.
