7 year old Aadia bagged State Chess Championship title

Aadia Singh of Sector – 100, Noida study at APJ School in 2nd standard bagged the title of U- 7 State Chess Championship which was taking place in Ghaziabad. And she know qualified for the National Chess Championship. She is not only a chess player but she is a good skating player as well. She represented Gautam Buddha Nagar district and won the 1st position on 30th March in District Chess Competition. After this victory she got an opportunity to participate in the state championship. For around 9 months she is learning chess from Vivek Mishra. Her brother Aditya Singh is also a chess player. Seeing him she fall for game. Her brother gave basic information and training about chess.
Aadha’s father Shivshankar Singh said that Aadia got influence after watching her brother. After this she started enjoying the game and she is consistently performing well. Now there is hope for a better performance from her in the national competition. Kosi Joshi, secretary of Gautam Buddha Nagar Chess Sports Association, said that this is a great achievement for the district as Aadia a 7 year old has shown the magnificent sport in a very short time. As she is also a good skating player she bagged 1st position in Delhi state and North Zone Skating Competition last year. From the age of 4 she is practicing sports in the Skating Rink at Sector-100. She focuses on both the sports.
