4 Gold medals for the city swimmers 3 selected for the Nationals

50th UP State Junior Swimming Championship saw an impeccable performance by the city swimmers.
The competition was held in Meerut where the Ghaziabad swimmers bagged 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze medals.
Swimmer Rishyant Singh set a new state record in the 100 meters butterfly also clinching the gold. He also won the silver medal in 50 meters freestyle, 100 meters freestyle and 200 meters freestyle, He also went on to win the Bronze in 50 meters butterfly. Aryan Chikara bagged the 1500 meters and 800 meters freestyle gold and 400 meters meters freestyle silver.
