3 gold medals winner Palak Kohli looking ahead for the Dubai Para Badminton International Tournament 2019

Palak Kohli participated for the 1st time in national para games and bagged 3 gold medals in 3rd National Para Badminton Championships 2019. She is a 12th standard student at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. The championship took place in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, from March 15 to 17. Her left arm is shot but her sprite is high she bagged gold medals in the women’s singles, women’s double and girls’ single U-19 categories also achieved 2nd runner-up position in the mixed doubles therefore achieved supremacy in all categories.
She was the state champion in the 1st Para Badminton State Championships 2019 held on February 20, 2019, at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo. She also became the Para State Champion 2019 in athletics. She had bagged three gold medals in 100 m, 200 m and 400 m races. Dr Rashmi Vij, principal, felicitated Palak for her success. She is now going to participate in the Dubai Para Badminton International Tournament 2019, to be held from March 31 to April 7.
