22 teams lock horns against each other in Basketball Championship

U-17 District Level Basketball Tournament finally formed its pace at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector 38 from Tuesday. This three days Basketball tournament is to be played with the corporation and undertaking of Gurugram District Basketball Association.
The first day of the basketball tournament witnessed match between 22 different teams from the region and nearby area. Talking about 11 total matches played on the day, 7 of the matches were of the boys’ category and the remaing 4 were the girls’ category matches. All the matches ended with great response from the spectators.
Coach Omveer told all the teams and the spectators that the winning teams on day 01 will find directly entry to the semi-final line-up in their particular categories. The prestigious tournament was inaugurated by Social Worker Rajbir and he also gifted cycle to the students of government school.
