175 students tried yoga postures in District Yoga Championship

DAV Public School of Gurgaon Sector 49 hosted district-level yoga championship on Wednesday. Students from different schools of NCR region participated in the championship in different categories.
District Yoga Association was the sponsoring unit of the whole event. District Education Official Dr Dinesh kumar Shashtri along with Yoga Association Official Rakesh Giri were the chief guest of the event.
Championship took place in Sub Junior, Junior and Senior categories in which both government and privately managed schools showed up.
All the winners of district level competition will later participate in the State Level Competition scheduled in Faridabad on 27 and 28 October. Ace performers will gain benefit of direct entry in Gurgaon Team.
