17 Gold for Taekwondo Players

28th North Zone Taekwondo Championship saw amazing performance by the Ghaziabad district players with a medal tally of 17 Gold, 16 Silver and 13 Bronze, with this the players secured the 2nd position.
The Competition was held at the Bareily sports stadium from 10th to 12th May.
The players of the Vasundhara Taekwondo Academy were awarded by the Chief Coach Prem Singh BIsht.
Jiya of the U-47kg(Girls) category won the gold medal, The U-55kg Gold was bagged by Shruti Jayaswal, U-41kg Gold went to Vanshika Singh, U-37 Gold to Vinayak Sharma, U-65 gold to Prashant Pandey and U-41 Gold to Dev Rajput.
The junior boys and girls category Gold went to Prachi Bhatt, Varun Sharma and Bhaskar Balaji.
The players of the Vasundhara Taekwondo Academy who brought the Gold Glory are Nishtha Bisht, Varun Sharma, Khemendra Singh, Jiya, Ansh Sharma, Shreyansh Singh, Ashwini Anand, Rudra Roy. The Award Ceremony was graced by the presence of the president of District Taekwondo Association Ghaziabad, S.N. Rawat, Coach Jahangir, Coach Birendra Singh Negi.
