16 cricket teams will charge-up School India Cup

School India Cup initiated by the Schools Sports Foundation of Central Sports Ministry will offer chance to the 16 different teams from different localities to showcase their talent. All the matches of the tournament will be played in the 2nd week of October at the Ground located in Sector-123.
Cricket teams of Vishwabharti School Noida, Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Kothari International School, Aster Public School, Bharat Ram School, Indus Valley School, Ramagya School, Karl Huber School, Army Public School, DAV School, Ryan International School Noida, Ryan International School Greater Noida, Shiv Nadar School, Rameesh International School, Gaur International School and Gaur International School Greater Noida West will lock horns against each-other.
16 teams will be classified into 4 different groups and each of the school’s team will get an opportunity to play 03 league matches. Top team in all the different groups will get an opportunity to play semi-final match.
After the local competition, the district team for the Noida will be decided later based on the performance of different players in the local competition. Sports Coordinator Subhash Sharma has mentioned that all the preparations for the competition is on the last stage and cricket ground of sector 123 will be a good venue for the competition.
