15th April is the last day to apply for National Sports Awards. These awards are given by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Name of the awards are Rajiv gandhi khel ratna, Dronacharya award, Arjuna award, Dhyan chand award and Rashtriya khel ratna puraskar. Only players who have achieved important awards between 1st January to 31st December can apply for these awards. Akhtar Ali district sports officer told that players can send their information to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports both in Hindi and English by 15th April after that application will not be accepted.
