10th Garhwal and Two-Third GR wins Football Tournament

10th Garhwal team along with Two Third GR attains win with intact scorecard in the 2nd edition of Lieutenant Nishant Negi Smriti Football Tournament. On the Pavilion Ground of Dehradun City both the teams played their individual games.
The first match of the tournament was played in between Vijay Cantt and 10th Garhwal team. Players of both the teams finished the duration of the game without scoring any game. In the penalty shoot-out 10th Garhwal team claimed win by 4-2 scoreline.
For 10th Garhwal team John, Nishant, Abhishek and Rahul scored one goal each in the shoot-out. Second match of the tournament was played in between Doon United and Two Third GR team. The GR team thrashed down opponents easily with 8-1 scoreline.
