Who is the International governing body of Table tennis?
International Table Tennis Federation is the governing body of all international associations. The body oversees rules and regulations, endeavours to provide technological improvement for the game. The IITF is responsible for organizing Table Tennis Championships around the world. Established in 1926, the governing body has set up rules for the play. Over the years, it has also banned speed glue and implemented a VOC ban, as the use of speed glue increased elasticity of the racquet, which add increased spin and speed to the ball, resulting in unfair treatment of the opponent.
