When was Guitar first practiced?
Guitar is a stringed musical instrument whose origin dates back to almost 5000 years ago when an instrument which looked more or so like Guitar was practiced. With modifications in the original shape and changes in the name, new guitar came into prevalence.
Though it is difficult to ascertain where Guitar was first practiced, it is believed or rather evidence has been found that Egyptian singer, Harmuse played Guitar almost 3300 years ago. The guitar is said to be of three strings.
The classical Guitar is said to have been practiced in Spain in 1850’s and modern Guitar is said to have taken shape in the 1900’s.
There is no concrete evidence to the fact of when Guitar actually started being practiced but the guitar being 5000 years old and publically prevalent in the 1850’s and 1900’s can be traced back.
