Karate has been popular since number of decades. There are number of record holders across the world, but if we consider for the international level and national level, there are two champions; Joe Lewis and Midhun Jith respectively.

Joe Lewis:
Born on 7th March 1944, in Knightdale, North Carolina, U.S., he started his career in between 1960s and 1970s. In the Karate history, he has been voted twice as the greatest fighter. Winning innumerable Karate tournaments, he won the title of ‘United States National Black Belt Kata Champion’ and ‘World Heavyweight Karate Champion’. He was even recognised by Bruce Lee who considered him as ‘The Greatest Fighter of his Time’ and ‘The Greatest karate Fighter of All Time’.

Midhun Jith:
Born on 2nd April 1989 in Wayanad, Kerala, India, Midhun is a marine engineer. He is the only legend of India who hold International Karate Championship and Kick boxing Championship at the same time. Winning 17 times national karate championships, 1 time KKA - Kerala State championship, 1 time state open fight, 1 time king of kumite, 2 times international karate championship, 1 time best fighter title, 2 times national open fight and 20 times state karate championship, he is the pride for India who secured the highest record in Karate world.
