The International Talent Hunt Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in Science, Maths and Mental ability, is held annually at the national and international levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards. Apart from syllabus, a part of test paper is based on the application of knowledge.
 
The examination is being conducted for all classes from 1st to 10th with the following details.
 
For Classes 1-2 : There will be 30 questions and the duration will be of 60 Minutes.
For Classes 3-12 : There will be 40 questions and the duration will be of 40 to 60 Minutes.
 
Syllabus for class 1-4 includes - Living and Non-living things, Animal kingdom, Our body, Food we eat, Clothes we wear, Shelters and Homes, Our neighborhood, Work we do, Air, Water and Soil, Means of transport and communication, Solar system, Number system, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication and Division, Fractions, Time, Money, Length, Mass, Capacity, Geometry) Data representation, Symmetry and Pattern, Analogy, Blood relation, Classification, Series of alphabet & Direction Test.

Syllabus for class 4-10 includes - Crop Production and Management, Microorganisms, Synthetic Fibers and Plastics, Metals and Non-metals, Coal and Petroleum, Combustion and Flame, Conservation of Plants, Cell - Structure and Functions. Reproduction in Animals, Reaching the Age of Adolescence, Force and Pressure, Friction, Sound, Chemical Effects of Electric current, Natural Phenomena, Light, Stars and the Solar System, Pollution, Rational Numbers, Linear Equations in One variable, Quadrilaterals, Practical Geometry, Data Handling, Squares and Square Roots, Cubes and Cube Roots, Algebraic Expressions, Visualizing Solid Shapes, Mensuration, Exponents and Powers, Direct and Inverse Proportion, Factorization, Introduction to Graphs, Analogy, Blood relation, Classification, Coding Decoding, Direction rest, Letter Series, Mixed series, Non verbal & Number series.
