My child is uneasy during long distance travelling. Do I need to consult a doctor for it or will it subside once he/she grows up?
Almost more than 50% of children suffer from uneasiness or travel sickness during long distances. Travel sickness usually occurs due to the impact on inner ear that is caused by the change of position and movement.
Your child might outgrow the uneasy feeling as it grows up or the symptoms may never go. But this is not alarming and you do not need to consult a doctor regarding the same. You might ask your doctor for a patent prescription that you could give your child whenever this happens and take certain precautionary measures to keep your child comfortable during the travel.
