Is it true that kabaddi holds a mythological connection?

Kabaddi makes it way back to the pre-historic times. In the epic Mahabharata, the pandava warrior - Arjuna possessed a skill of infiltrating into the enemy’s walls and traps and then demolishing all of them silently, ultimately coming out of the situation unscathed. Even Arjuna’s son Abhimanyu gained knowledge of cracking the vicious ‘Chakravyuha’ - seven-tiered defensive wall, but was unable to find his way out. It is considered that in the memory of valorous young Abhimanyu, the game of Kabaddi was established.
