‘Martial Arts increase aggressiveness’, is a misconception or rather a myth that people are slowly coming out from.
All Martial art techniques are based on moral principles and are based on codes of discipline and honor thereby inculcating humility and self control while learning how to use their subtle physical strength to protect themselves.
Martial arts rather bring down aggressiveness as when you acquire that strength to tackle some bully head on you become self confident and not likely to try and prove yourself. You know you have the skill and it gives you mental peace and calm.
Intensive physical training releases all pent up aggression and makes you aware of your own vulnerability to being hurt and thus you become conscious of other’s feelings too.
Thus, Martial Arts teaches humility rather than agression.
